Cops cordon off pub in Glasgow after 'attack leaves victim covered in blood'

Police have cordoned off an area outside a bar in Glasgow after an alleged attack left the victim 'covered in blood.'

Officers were alerted to the incident at around 9pm on Wednesday, July 5 at the Hazelwood Bar and Function Suite on Nitshill Road, reports Glasgow Live.

An image from the scene shows a stationary police vehicle sitting outside the front of the premises, with police tape blocking off the area to the public.

Two officers are also believed to be standing guard outside the front door.

An eyewitness said: "Someone has been attacked and covered in blood."

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be confirmed but Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
