Emergency services have descended on a busy street in Falkirk amid an ongoing incident this afternoon.

Cops and paramedics are currently in attendance on Union Road in the Camelon area of the town.

The nature of the incident is currently unclear, and it's not known if anyone has been injured.

An eyewitness told Falkirk Live that two police vans and an ambulance are at the scene.

It's reported officers appear to be carrying out enquiries and speaking to people in the street.

Police Scotland have been contacted for a comment.
