In a year where the Los Angeles Rams are struggling to find ways to win games, Cooper Kupp remains a constant source of production in the offense. After recording eight receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9, Kupp is now the second-fastest wide receiver to 500 career receptions in NFL history, reaching it in just 79 games.

Kupp now has 505 career receptions — to be exact — so he actually became the second-fastest wide receiver to reach 500 career receptions with his third catch versus the Buccaneers. His third reception of the game against Tampa Bay was an eight-yard play while his fourth reception would result in a 69-yard touchdown from Matthew Stafford.
The only wide receiver to tally 500 career receptions faster than Kupp was Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints. Thomas achieved the impressive feat in 69 career games, surpassing the previous record holders in Anquan Boldin and Julio Jones, who caught 500 passes in 80 games each.
The All-Pro wideout registered a historic season for the Rams in 2021 with 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns. Through the first eight games of this season, Kupp is on pace to finish with 153 receptions, 1,728 yards, and 13 touchdowns.
Despite being an overlooked prospect coming out of Eastern Washington, Kupp continues to etch his name in the record books with the Rams.
