If the supposed beef between rising NBA prospect Cooper Flagg and Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal stemming from a rumored one-on-one embarrassment of Beal at star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum’s summer basketball camp sounded a little bit too good to be true, it seems that it very well may have been a made-up tale.
Flagg recently came clean about the rumored exchange between himself and the Suns veteran in a video circulated by Bleacher Report Hoops, saying that “I’m making enemies, first Brad Beal — that was fake though; pointing it out the mic, that was fake, fake business.”
“Me and Brad Beal never played one-on-one, I’ve got no beef with Brad, alright?” he added for good measure, pushing back against the colorful rumor making the rounds of an offseason NBA media sphere thirsty for content.
