A controversial comedian performing on the Fringe has had his second show cancelled after several complaints were filed from members of the audience after a previous show.
The decision to cancel comedian and magician Jerry Sadowitz’s second show on Saturday August 13 was made by bosses at the Pleasance Theatre Trust. The 61-year-old American Scottish performer is known for aggressive comedy that can often be extremely close to the bone.
His act was due to be performed for two nights - Friday August 12 and Saturday 13 - at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre but the show was cancelled on Saturday afternoon after the venue said it did not “align with their values”, the BBC reports.
