Live Active Leisure (LAL) has appointed a contractor to carry out the £750,000 Bell’s Sport Centre upgrade, despite a petition in opposition to the project approaching 2500 signatures.
Perth-based company, One Call, will complete the building works necessary to get the new facilities in place, while Taylor and Fraser will carry out electrical and ventilation improvements required for the development.
Plans for the £750,000 revamp include three fitness studios and the much-criticised transformation of the Coaching Hall into a 100-station gym.
