The Tennessee Titans have made multiple additions to their defense in free agency thus far, with one of the moves being the signing of former Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher, Arden Key.
Unlike the contract numbers of Titans offensive tackle signing Andre Dillard, the specifics of which remain a mystery other than the three-year deal being for $29 million, we know exactly what Key will be making over his own three-year deal.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Key’s deal is for three years and $21 million, with a max value of $24 million that can be reached via unspecified incentives. Key’s contract includes a solid $13 million fully guaranteed at signing.
The base value actually matches what former Titans defensive end DeMarcus Walker is making in his new deal with the Chicago Bears, except Walker is getting three million more guaranteed.
It's a 3-year deal worth $21 million with $16 fully guaranteed for DeMarcus Walker, per source. The Bears finish the day by bringing an edge rusher into the mix. An absolute necessity on defense.

As much as I liked Walker, I thought the deal he signed with the Bears was too much to pay for him, although I can understand it for Chicago with the pass-rush woes they had last season.
I’m happy the Titans decided to spend that money on a promising 26-year-old edge rusher who could be a long-term solution as opposed to a 28-year-old career backup who had one good season.
