The Tennessee Titans recently re-signed long snapper Morgan Cox to a one-year deal, but at the time the move was announced, we didn’t have the specific details of the pact.
Now, thanks to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, we do. Cox’s one-year deal with the Titans is worth $1.317 million, with $1.002 million guaranteed. The deal also includes a signing bonus of $152,500.
The figure for Cox’s new deal is a well-deserved raise from 2022, when the 36-year-old long snapper signed for $1.272 million.
Since signing with the Titans in 2021, Cox has stabilized a position that saw issues the year prior. He also received his fifth-career Pro Bowl nod this past season, his first since coming to Nashville.

Cox is the first of Tennessee’s original 34 pending free agents who have been re-signed so far this offseason.
Expect plenty more moves to come in the next few days. The legal tampering period has already begun and the start of the new league year, when signings can be made official, unfolds on the 15th.
