Continental selections of contemporary art come to Paris

After the Covid-19 pandemic put many international art fairs on hold, the French capital is now host to several major events displaying contemporary pieces from around the globe. Art Basel has spread its wings beyond Miami and Hong Kong to create the first edition of "Paris +", staged at the Grand Palais Éphémère. We hear from its director about the specificity of the French gallery scene. Meanwhile, African art is in the spotlight at "Also Known As Africa", for the seventh edition of the fair. We speak to Kenyan artist Thandiwe Muriu about how the digital sphere gave her photography a boost, and market analyst Pierre Naquin tells us about the growth of the sector in recent years.
