Consumer confidence shows gradual improvement in January, future expectations turn weak: RBI report

NEW DELHI: Consumer confidence showed gradual improvement in January 2022, but remained in pessimistic zone, survey released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) showed on Thursday.

The gradual improvement for third successive round of the survey came on back of better sentiments on general economic situation, household income and spending.
