The Counsel General of Israel, Kobbi Shoshani met Anupam Kher this afternoon to personally apologise for filmmaker Nadav Lapid's remarks on 'The Kashmir Files' that created a stir.
Kher, who condemned Lapid for calling the film a "propaganda" and "vulgar movie", took to his social media handle to share a video of his interaction with the Israeli Consul General. "My people would like to know why you have come. The last time you came, you praised 'The Kashmir Files'," Kher said in the video.
"I saw Kashmir Files a year ago," Shoshani said and went on to add, "For me, the first thing to do in the morning was to give a call to my friend, Anupam and apologise on behalf of the government of Israel, about these stupid things that have been said last night."
