Construction work on Patna Marine Drive will be completed up to Gaighat by June this year, officials tell CM Nitish Kumar

PATNA: The construction work of the JP Ganga Path, popularly known as Patna Marine Drive, up to Gaighat would be completed by June this year, while ongoing works of the Kachchi Dargah–Bidupur six-lane Greenfield bridge over Ganga river would be completed up to Raghopur by December this year, officials told CM Nitish Kumar during on-the-spot inspection of both the mega projects on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, the chief minister, accompanied by senior officials, visited Gaighat and Kachchi Dargah and took stock of the remaining construction works in the two mega projects. He asked the road construction department (RCD) officials to complete the remaining works under both the projects at a faster pace.
