Construction Of India's First Vertical Lift Sea Bridge To Be Completed Soon

Rameshwaram: The Ministry of Railways on Saturday announced that 84 per cent of work on much-awaited India's first vertical lift sea bridge - New Pamban bridge - connecting the holy Rameswaram in Pamban island to mainland India has been completed.

This state-of-the-art bridge will be the country's first vertical lift railway sea bridge and is expected to be completed by March 2023.
