200 new homes are set to be built in Sandyford following new development plans.
Respond confirmed that the project, which will create a mix of cost rental and social housing units, will be one of the largest housing developments built in south Dublin in recent years. There will be 67 cost rental apartments and 133 social apartments available once construction is complete.
The new homes are scheduled for delivery before spring 2025. The development, known as Lisieux Hall, will see its social housing units offered to people currently on Dun Laoghaire Rathdown's housing list.

A spokesperson for Respond said: "These homes are ideally placed close to amenities, public transport routes, and local commercial centres, and will provide secure accommodation at affordable prices to 200 hundred families. Delivering cost rental homes is becoming ever more key to addressing the challenges of affordability and security of tenure faced by many renters in the current market.
They added: "Pursuing larger developments like Lisieux Hall enables us to deliver cost rental homes at scale, efficiently and effectively as possible."
Meanwhile, the cost rental apartments vary in price. A two bedroom apartment costs €1,485 at the development, while a studio rental is available at €1,137.50.
Respond is also expected to deliver 153 new social homes at a development on the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown. The homes will be delivered in the next few weeks.
