Among hundreds of South Ayrshire projects considered for investment were a handful of schemes that had formed the core of the Conservative’s manifesto in 2022.
Ayr Town Centre was the central point for many of those pledges.
A number of those pledges have been given the go ahead, including the resurfacing of Ayr Prom with red tarmac (£150k), Resurfacing Blackburn Car Park (£95k), Illumination of Auld and New Brig (£101k), replacing lighting at Loudon Hall (£10k), refurbish footbridge over slipway (£100k).
