Conor McMenamin reinstated to Northern Ireland squad after surfacing of 'historic video'

Conor McMenamin is set to be recalled to the Northern Ireland squad ahead of Tuesday's Nations League clash with Greece.

The Glentoran winger was withdrawn from the matchday squad for Saturday’s match against Kosovo after a historic video surfaced appearing to show the Glentoran winger singing an alleged pro-IRA chant.

However, the 27-year-old joined his team-mates on Sunday’s flight to Athens after the Irish FA gathered more information regarding the video. The clip is understood to be almost a decade old and the then teenager McMenamin was punished by his club for his actions at the time.
