Conor Mcgregor has vowed to 'slice through someone' when he makes his long-awaited return to the UFC.
The Dubliner hasn't fought since breaking his leg in defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. A return in 2022 was mooted by many including McGregor's coach John Kavanagh, but ultimately The Notorious remained on the sidelines.
Late 2023 seems to be the most likely date for a McGregor comeback. And ahead of this return, the former World Champion is confident that he can do some damage to whoever he ends up facing.

Taking to Twitter, McGregor said, "I’m going to slice through someone on return. Trust that. And I don’t care who. Line up."
Since making his debut in the UFC a decade ago, McGregor has gone on to become the biggest star in the sport.
The 34-year-old won nine of his first ten fights in the organisation and became both the featherweight and lightweight champion. In doing so, he became the first two-weight simultaneous World Champion in UFC history.
McGregor will make his big screen debut when his film Roadhouse is released later this year. Those anticipating a UFC return may have to be patient a little while longer.
