Conor McGregor took his anger out on Michael Chandler and the judges after suffering his fifth consecutive defeat on The Ultimate Fighter.
McGregor was looking for his first win of the season as his bantamweight prospect Carlos Vera took on Team Chandler's Brad Katona in the latest episode of the season. Unfortunately for McGregor, he suffered his fifth consecutive defeat as a coach with his own SBG teammate Katona winning a unanimous decision against Vera.
Chandler felt confident Katona had done enough to win both rounds but McGregor disagreed with the decision and called upon the judges to order a sudden death round, stating: "Give him three rounds lads, we want three rounders here judges yeah? None of this two round s***." The referee then announced a decision had been made and Katona got his hand raised much to the anger of McGregor.
The Irishman targeted Chandler at the end of the fight by saying: "It's five rounds for a world title. You ever had one of those world titles Michael? You ever had a five-rounder?" Chandler cracked a smile at McGregor's trash talk and replied: "Yep, lots of them. We won both rounds, we don't need a third round when we won both."
McGregor continued his rant by calling for UFC boss Dana White to speak with the judges about their decision, adding: "Dana tell them three rounds, yeah? Two rounds... the fight's not over. They're unfinished fights. If they've got unfinished fights, give them a third round. The guys are fighting for their life here."
Katona was frustrated with his performance in the lacklustre fight as he clinched both rounds in an unconvincing performance. McGregor will be hoping to stop Chandler from continuing his clean sweep on the show next week when his unbeaten teammate Lee Hammond faces Kurt Holobaugh.

McGregor had promised that an official announcement for his UFC comeback fight against Chandler would be made during an episode of this season's The Ultimate Fighter. This is unlikely to be the case however as McGregor is yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool, potentially delaying his fight against Chandler until next year.
USADA are yet to respond to queries regarding McGregor's status in their testing pool, meaning there is still a possibility McGregor could fight at the end of the year as the six month window opens on the date of re-enrolment, not the submission date of a fighter's first test sample.
