Conor McGregor trying to track down Irish girl who went viral in Mike Tyson video

Conor McGregor is trying to track down an Irish girl who went viral in a video with Mike Tyson.

She was asked who she thought would win a fight between McGregor and the boxing great and sided with her fellow countryman.

But as she said McGregor's name, Tyson appeared beside her and gave her a massive fright.

The Notorious shared the video on Instagram and said he wants to find the girl to give her a gift.

He wrote: "Who is this Proper Irish lady loyal to the backbone in the US can anyone tell me? I wish to reach out and gift.

"That is how you do it! If you ever found yourself publicly going against your own. You are a loser. No two ways about it. L.O.S.E.R Loser.

"Whatever about anything, you back your own no matter what! Respect this Proper Irish woman in New York backing her own! What it is all about! Back. Your. Own.

"Ireland baby! Ya’s’r all nuts I love ya’s. Even the little turn coat red coats. I forgive. Yous are going through enough, losers. Ireland baby! The one, the f***ing only!"

The post comes after fans were divided on recent training video uploaded by the former two-weight UFC champion.

In the short clip shared online, he walloped his trainer's boxing pad repeatedly with a trademark left hook.

He captioned the post: "Tasty's at the beach."

Some lauded the clip for McGregor showcasing a return to his wider stance and bouncy, light footwork that was a core part of what made him such a devastating force on his way up to becoming the UFC's featherweight and lightweight champion.

One wrote: "That left is something serious."

Someone who definitely knows what he's talking about is fellow UFC legend Urijah Faber. He liked what he saw as he added: "Corkscrew overhand (fire emoji)."

But at the same time there were plenty of naysayers who chided McGregor for only working the same telegraphed shot rather than putting a range of combinations together.

One person said: "Too stiff and too slow, the golden days are over."

While another added: "Bro just spamming slow left hands."

Lastly, another fan asked: "When are we going to see some real technique?"
