Conor McGregor has been told he is 'losing his grip' after getting physical following his sixth straight loss in The Ultimate Fighter.
The Dubliner was deployed for as a coach for the latest season but saw Team McGregor suffer a sixth straight defeat as SBG teammate Lee Hammond was choked out.
Hammond was winning most of the fight before a ground exchange saw him choked out and left McGregor with a 0-6 record in the season.
And things got heated as Michael Chandler goaded McGregor following the loss, accusing the Dubliner of not being there for his team.
McGregor was visibly frustrated after the loss and said: "Some of these kids are in the UFC before you're in the UFC so don't start trying to say you're this and that. I'll show up and break your nose you little fool you. What? You little Bellator thick, you'll do nothing."
McGregor squared up to Chandler and pushed him following the altercation before his future UFC opponent asked to fight McGregor.
And speaking after the exchange, McGregor told the UFC: "I'm happy I got in because they were trying to filter this thing about the weigh-ins, right? Chandler's trying to pick at that like I wasn't being involved. I'm setting it up, it's me who is setting it up first of all, it's not like I just left them to their own devices, it's actually quite the opposite. They were left amongst the best."
And McGregor came under fire from social media users with one person saying he is 'losing his grip'.
"I really think Conor should just ride off the sunset. He’s losing his grip when it comes to fighting. The name-calling is not going work. When he pushed Chandler, you can tell Chandler was excited because it’ll be an red panty night for him," one user wrote.
While another said: "Chandler saying it like it is, Conor doesn’t even show up for the weigh-ins. Doesn’t go in the cage in between rounds. Chandler is there for his team!"
