Conor McGregor has slammed UFC commentator Joe Rogan and former opponents Khabib Nurmagomedov and Donald Cerrone in an astonishing and foul-mouthed late-night social media rant.
To begin with, McGregor took to Twitter to have a go at Joe Rogan for his commentary during McGregor's UFC 229 fight with Khabib back in 2018. During the fight, McGregor got taken down by numerous times by Khabib. On one occasion, while on his back, McGregor threw a knee to the face of his opponent.
This was an illegal move as in MMA it is a foul to knee a downed opponent. Joe Rogan has referenced this fact on commentary at the time and on numerous other occasions in the past, and McGregor chose last night to respond to Rogan's comments.

McGregor then proceeded to post a video of the knee strike in question, before posting a voice note where he impersonates Rogan and says, in an American accent, "That's a knee to a grounded opponent, Call the cops!"
'The Notorious' also took exception to how Rogan mentioned on commentary that McGregor was 'getting smashed' by Khabib. In response to this, the Dubliner posted a photo of Rogan's good friend Donald Cerrone after their fight in 2020.
On that occasion, McGregor eviscerated 'Cowboy' Cerrone and Knocked him out in less than a minute. 'Mystic Mac' destroyed Cerrone that night, and used evidence of the American's busted up face to taunt the pair, captioning the post "That’s smashed up pal. @joerogan. You ever see me like that? Never."
And then McGregor rounded on Khabib and took aim at the legendary undefeated UFC fighter. The 34-year-old went into detail on the infamous UFC 229 brawl between Khabib's team and Conor's, with McGregor referring to himself as a 'F***ing Lion,' while branding Khabib a 'rat'
Finally, McGregor took aim at Khabib's brother Abubakar Nurmagomedov for his role in the UFC 229 bust-up. Conor told Abubakar to "wake up," and said that "you are not free yet."
McGregor also makes reference to the Nurmagomedov's deceased father saying, "You absolute bottler. Your da gonna open hand slap you when you meet again."
After finishing taking aim at seemingly every UFC personality under the sun, McGregor gave his fans some indication as to when he may return. The former double weight-class champion confirmed that he will "be clear for testing in February," and that he will follow USADA's protocols before a claiming that he is looking for a fight to be booked.
McGregor hasn't fought in well over a year since breaking his leg in a second successive loss to Dustin 'The Diamond' Poirier in July 2021.
