Conor McGregor shows cut nose as he posts bizarre video online

Conor McGregor appeared to have a cut on his nose as he shared a video online.

The Notorious has been upping his training as he prepares for his UFC return following a horror leg break.

McGregor has not fought in almost a year after suffering the injury against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight last July.

Sharing a short video on Instagram, the former two-weight champion could be seen with his hood up as music played.

Captioning the video, he wrote: "Scrubbers get scrubbed scrub a scrubber today."

Many fans commented wondering what exactly the video and message meant.

One said: "What does it mean?"

Another posted: "What does that mean?"

But some believe it was another dig at his UFC rival Jorge Masvidal.

McGregor had been expected to return to action this summer, but his comeback has been delayed.

His coach John Kavanagh is hopeful that the Notorious may step into the octagon again before the end of the year though.

He told The Irish Mirror recently: "When will he be back? Well, there’s your million dollar question.

"I don’t know, I’d love to see him before the end of the year. Is that possible? Step one, let’s get back into the gym, let’s get back moving around with MMA sparring partners doing MMA drills, at the minute he’s doing stability work, strength and conditioning, non-fighting related stuff.

"But as soon as we can get that going again and just get that rhythm, and timing, I don’t think it will take a huge amount of time to get him from that to competition."
