Conor McGregor has shared a teaser clip of his new documentary that will be released on Netflix on May 17.
The Crumlin native had previously mentioned that he was working on a big documentary project. Taking to Twitter this morning, McGregor wrote: "You heard it here first. My brand new documentary series McGregor Forever, is coming to @Netflix on May 17!
"The only place to hear my true story, which is only getting started!" In the short one minute trailer for the new documentary, McGregor is seen recuperating in a hospital bed after he suffered a serious leg injury in a bout against Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas in July 2021.

The injury would put him out of action for almost two years. In the trailer for 'McGregor Forever' the former two-time UFC champion can be seen speaking to camera from his hospital bed while wearing a cast after his surgery.
He said in the trailer: "I thought it was over as well, that is why I flipped into a different mode. Now it was the adrenaline as well and I would have calmed down but part of me is like 'imagine it was just taken from me like that'.
"I would be a different person and it was a bit scary to be honest. But, it's McGregor forever.
"That's it, isn't it? Like, it's done. It's McGregor forever and don't you forget it."
It is the second Netflix documentary that has followed the rise of McGregor's MMA career. In 2017 'The Notorious' was released on the streaming service to acclaim. McGregor has made a full recovery since fracturing his tibia and fibula six years ago and he is preparing to face Michael Chandler in a fight later this year with a date and venue not yet confirmed.
It's set to be a busy year ahead for the Crumlin native who has also been cast opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in a remake of 80s action film 'Road House'. Irish fans can stream the upcoming documentary 'McGregor Forever' on Netflix from 17 May.
