Conor McGregor says he has "the munchies" in rambling "Big Blunts" post

Conor McGregor said he had the "munchies" in a typically-rambling post on social media.

The Notorious is currently out of competitive fighting action as he continues his recovery from a broken leg he suffered in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier last year.

McGregor has been flaunting his luxury lifestyle on his social media, where most recently he has been holidaying with his fiancee Dee Devlin, while meeting a host of high-profile stars, reports The Mirror.

McGregor was accused of being "embarrassing" by fans earlier this week after posting a photo of himself smoking a joint which has seen many doubt he will come back to the UFC. The Irishman has posted a fresh rambling message, posting in a now deleted tweet: "Big Blunts goes to Hollywood. Starring me as me. Johnny as Johnny.

"Nick as Nate. We got the munchies mother*******. I'm not surprised. Surprise surprise mother f**** the king is back. The king is the king is me. Forever." McGregor's deleted Twitter post was accompanied with an image of himself smoking a joint in an expensive looking shirt on his latest escapade.

McGregor appeared to be excited after landing his first film role as an actor in a remake of classic movie Road House. The 34-year-old will appear alongside Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal with filming expected to begin in the Dominican Republic later this month, despite McGregor's exact part in the movie being unclear.

McGregor's message was the latest in a string of incoherent posts, including one assessing the UFC 277 fights as he smoked another "big blunt" during a lengthy voice message addressing the contest between Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena as well as Anthony Smith's devastating injury. Fans have become increasingly concerned with McGregor's behaviour, with the Irishman having spent a large amount of his recent time on his plush yacht.

Many believe this could have an adverse impact on his UFC career with fans hoping that the Dubliner will try and rekindle his recent form having lost three of his last four fights. One fan was critical of his behaviour: "This guy will never be serious again." Another agreed: "It makes me sad, imagine if he was still as hungry." One made a simple plea: "Stop smoking man".

A fan made a lengthy appeal to McGregor: "It really sucks seeing an iconic athlete embarrass himself on a platform. As a father I would never want my child to see something like this on a national scale. You never saw public displays like this from Kobe, LeBron, Brady, the list is endless." One fan took a more relaxed approach: "Good to see you enjoying the good life. But your time fighting is all done champ! Enjoy life."

McGregor was initially expected to be making a comeback this year but it is likely that it will not be until early 2023 after falling behind schedule. If he does elect to return, a whole host of high-profile options are expected to be available including a fight with Jorge Masvidal.
