Conor McGregor's mother has denied claims that she wore blackface as part of her Halloween costume.
Margaret McGregor was pictured appearing to wear blackface as part of her Halloween costume but has since denied that was the case.
A number of images appeared on social media with Margaret even posing alongside her son wearing blackface.
Pictures surfaced of Margaret wearing the face paint when her daughter Erin originally shared a video of her mother in her costume.
Captioning the video, Erin said: "Mad Magzer loving the Halloween vibe"
But Mrs McGregor has denied the claims - with Conor's representatives telling The Mirror: "The McGregor family loves Halloween. Mrs McGregor had spiders painted on her face since her costume was a ghoul risen from the grave.
"Any other interpretation was just wrong and truly unfortunate."
Fight fans will be hoping to see McGregor back in the octagon in 2023 and the Dubliner is expected to ramp up his training now he has returned to Dublin.
