Conor McGregor has offered his services after footage emerged of a shocking brawl between England and Wales football fans.
The two countries are due to face off in the World Cup in Qatar on Tuesday but their two sets of fans met in a violent brawl in Tenerife on Friday.
The violent incident happened after England's 0-0 draw with USA, which came hours after group rivals Wales were surprisingly beaten 2-0 by Iran.
Fans were seen brawling in the middle of a busy street with punches thrown and stools hurled at one another as hundreds looked on from nearby bars.
McGregor, who is continuing his recovery from injury, shared a clip of the brawl and wrote: "Coach, put me in". The UFC star has since deleted the post.
The Irishman was asked which side he would be on, with his home country failing to qualify for the tournament in Qatar, although he didn't offer a response.
McGregor was also reminded of his previous antics with chair throwing after he was riled up in a pre-fight press conference by Eddie Alvarez in 2016, only to be manhandled by Dana White.
One fan was not impressed though, with @SenseiPhil2 telling the UFC star: "Truly embarrassing. None of them can actually fight either. Disgrace to the UK nations."
McGregor broke his leg in his defeat by Dustin Poirier in July last year and his plans to return have been delayed until 2023 after fitness setbacks.
He will however have to undergo six months of drug testing in order to return to UFC, with his last test over 12 months ago.
However, last week he suggested he can exploit a loophole in the system to return sooner than first thought, tweeting: "I am clear for testing in February. I will complete my two tests per USADA and we are booking a fight."
The Irishman has piled on the weight since resuming training and has suggested he is currently weighing close to 190lb, a staggering 20lb more than his weight from his last win over Donald Cerrone in 2020.
