Fans are in good spirits ahead of Conor McGregor's UFC return and the Irishman has joked his fighting return is "too good to be true".
McGregor, 34, looks for his first UFC win in over three years when he faces Michael Chandler after coaching against his rival on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter. No date or location has yet been announced for McGregor's return, but the fight is expected to take place after August as McGregor will need to complete six months of mandatory drug-testing before fighting again.
The former two-weight world champion has touched down in Las Vegas to start filming for the UFC's reality TV show, which airs from May until August. McGregor could be seen shadowboxing whilst wearing a suit in a video at the UFC Apex in Sin City, which prompted one fan to write: "Something just don't feel right" to which McGregor replied: "It’s like it’s too good to be true hahaha..."

McGregor has remained fairly quiet since his fight against Chandler was announced, but recently broke his silence on the matchup in an exclusive interview with Mirror Fighting. "I'm looking forward to it," McGregor said. said. "I feel good, I feel energetic, I feel ready. I'm throwing up my high kicks faster than I'm throwing out my jab, so I'm very excited to get back.
The Irishman makes his second coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter after previously coaching against Urijah Faber on the reality show in 2015. Chandler is relishing the chance to be in McGregor's company for several weeks before fighting him later this year and the American explained why it could be a "rough night" for either of the pair in their eventual fight.
“If he lands one on the button, it’s going to be a rough night for me," Chandler told ESPN. "If I land one on the button, it’s going to be a rough night for him, but which one of us can do it? I’m going to get in his face, make him take a backwards step right away.
"He’s going to feel my presence from the very beginning of the fight and then from there wherever the fight takes us. If I want to pick him up and put him down, I can pick him up and put him down and put a beating on him and get a submission that way. I believe I finish Conor in the second round. That’s my ‘Mystic Mike’ take on this, later on this year whenever it is.”
