Conor McGregor gives advice to Francis Ngannou after heavyweight champion's UFC exit

Conor McGregor has given advice to Francis Ngannou after the UFC star's exit from the promotion.

Ngannou was stripped of the UFC heavyweight title at the weekend, with Jon Jones now set to take on Cyril Gane for the undisputed title at the beginning of March.

The Cameroonian star had been in negotiations with UFC head honcho Dana White for almost a year since he defended the title against Gane. These negotiations were fruitless and Ngannou is now a free agent.

In his Instagram stories, McGregor commented on Ngannou's exit posting the following : “Correct representation is imperative. Seek Paradigm Sports.”

Paradigm Sports is the company that represents McGregor along with fellow UFC star Israel Adesanya.

Earlier this week, Ngannou appeared on the MMA Hour to discuss his UFC exit.

“I asked for a lot of things, which doesn’t mean I was expected all of those things, but I would expect at least a few, one or two out of those things.

“I asked for sponsorship, the right to sponsorship, which we’ve been ripped off of. We can’t have sponsors. I asked for health insurance, couldn’t have it.

“I asked for a fighter advocate, somebody in the board meeting who advocates for the fighter. I asked for that. I couldn’t have those things.”
