Boxer and Manchester United supporter Conor McGregor has doubled down on his claim that he will look to complete a big-money purchase of a Premier League club.
The Irishman, who is a former two-weight UFC world champion, has previously hinted at making offers to buy both United and Scottish giants Celtic. The two clubs are teams that he supports.
However, earlier this week, McGregor, following the news that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was putting the club up for sale in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, suggested that he would make an offer to buy the current world champions and Champions League holders. Hinting that he would make an offer, he has now admitted that he is genuinely considering pursuing a football club.
