Conor McGregor was full of praise for "little daisy" Ian Garry after his stunning win at UFC 285 on Saturday night and predicted that the Irishman is a future champion in the UFC.
A sensational flurry of strikes in the third and final round saw his opponent Kenan Song crumple to the canvas as the Portmarnock native picked up the biggest win of his career so far.
Immediately after the fight, Garry pulled off Conor McGregor's 'Billi strut' celebration in honour of his hero, who he met up with ahead of his big fight.
McGregor was certainly impressed with his fellow Dubliner's performance and took to social media to shower the youngster with praise.
"Ian Garry you little DAISY," wrote McGregor in one Tweet before following it up a short while later with "I see a Champion," and an emoji of an Irish flag.
The win sees Garry move to 11-0 and solidifies his status as one of the welterweight division's most promising prospects.
That he had to battle through adversity makes the win even sweeter for the Dubliner, who was dropped to the canvas by Song in the first stanza.
Fortunately, Garry recovered, took control of the fight and put the exclamation point on an excellent performance.
Now 4-0 in the UFC, the future looks bright for the 25-year-old as he continues to plot his way towards UFC gold.
