Conor Benn will make the latest step-up in his welterweight rise as he takes on former world champion Chris Van Heerden at the Manchester Arena.
The British star has not fought since his explosive KO victory over Chris Algieri last year and is looking to make another successful step up against Van Heerden.
His opponent has shared the ring with the likes of Errol Spence, Matthew Hatton and most recently young star Jaron Ennis, with the contest ending prematurely after a cut from an accident headbutt.
A victory for Benn is likely to set up a mega-fight later this year with domestic stars Kell Brook and Chris Eubank Jr having been discussed in addition to world-level eliminators against the likes of Keith Thurman.
Here is all you need to know ahead of the rising star's latest test...

Benn: " He presents different struggles, he is a southpaw tough, durable and former world champion. As I say he presents different struggles but we need to get through this to get to world level. I’m going to get that criticism he is not the same name as me. If you want to criticise me for fighting Van Heerden but this guy who you are tipping as pound-for-pound.
"Because I am a bigger name the public are more aware. It's good enough for him (Jarron Ennis) if he has just fought in his 26th fight. I don’t know why the public don’t allow their prospects to have more learning fights, this is a step in the right direction. Once you cross that bridge to world level there is no coming back.
"Granados fight I learnt to cut off the ring, Formella I threw too many punches. There is always things I am looking to pick up on from fights and then they will help me move on to bigger and better things."
Van Heerden: "I'm a much better boxer than Conor Benn... In my opinion, Conor is an emotionally, angry fighter. He relies on his power. He cannot box with me... He's not a boxer! He's a power puncher and I don't rate him as a boxer. Sometimes it takes 10 years for that one year to come around that completely changes your life. This is my year. I want to thank Conor Benn for taking the fight, knowing that I’m coming to beat him in his backyard.
"I also want to thank Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing for taking this risk and my manager Peter Kahn for getting this fight done. I am looking forward to putting on a show in Manchester on DAZN.”
