Rangers defender Connor Goldson has committed his future to the club on a four-year deal.
The centre-back was set to become a free agent this summer and there has been plenty of speculation that Rangers ' Scottish Cup Final win was his final game for the club.
Newly-promoted English Premier League side Nottingham Forest had been credited with an interest, with a return south of the border seemingly on the cards for Goldson.
However, the 29-year-old has agreed a bumper contract keeping him in the Scottish Premiership until 2026.
Goldson was a key man for Gio van Bronckhorst' s side last season, racking up more minutes than any other player this season.
The defender has impressed both domestically and during Rangers' Europa League run, and his departure would have left huge boots to fill at Ibrox.
He joins Steven Davis in agreeing a new deal at the club this summer, with decisions still to be announced on Allan McGregor and Leon Balogun.
