Congressman Raul Ruiz, the ranking Democrat on the subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic, questioned Dr. Fauci during a recent hearing. As a former ER doctor, Congressman Ruiz shared his perspective on the behavior exhibited by some Republicans towards Dr. Fauci, including the refusal to address him as a doctor.
Congressman Ruiz expressed his dismay at the extreme accusations made by Republicans, particularly regarding the false narrative that Dr. Fauci funded research that led to the COVID-19 pandemic. He emphasized the importance of focusing on preparing and preventing future viral pandemics rather than perpetuating baseless claims.
