He condemned the Biden administration's use of parole and asylum to admit migrants, arguing that it compromises national security, empowers cartels, and facilitates the entry of dangerous substances, such as fentanyl.
Congressman Roy commended Republican governors nationwide who have expressed solidarity with Governor Abbott and Texas. However, he urged them to go beyond mere statements of support and take substantive action. He called on these governors to send National Guard troops to assist in border security operations and to oppose any attempts by the Biden administration to enforce policies that undermine security.
