Concerto that was lost to time to premiere in Australia

A classical concerto that was lost to time and accidentally rediscovered will have its premiere in the modern era with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

The "Concerto per Violone", which dates from the late 1770s or early 1780s, had been attributed to Austrian composer Johannes Sperger - but scholars noted about half a century ago that the score was not in his handwriting.
