Concerns are mounting over the whereabouts of a missing Scots man who vanished 10 days ago.
Peter Doherty was last seen on Love Street in Paisley on Monday, April 25.
The 53-year-old has not been in touch with his loved ones since - which police say is completely out of character.
His current whereabouts is unknown and as the search goes on, his friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Peter is described as about 5ft 10in tall, with short brown/grey-coloured hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing a grey and black hoodie, light denim ripped jeans and black and white trainers.
He is known to beg for money in the Govan area of Glasgow.
Inspector Robert Anderson, Govan Police station, said: "Peter hasn’t been in contact with his friends or family for a number of days now and hasn’t been keeping to his normal routine which is completely out of character for him.
"We know he was in Paisley when he was last seen so may have connections in this area that we are unaware of. I would urge anyone who knows Peter or can provide information on his whereabouts to contact police.”
