Concerns growing for missing teen who vanished from Scots town two days ago

A frantic search has been launched for a schoolgirl who vanished from an East Lothian town two days ago. Naomi Doran was last seen at around 8.45 pm on Monday, May 8, in the High Street area of Dunbar.

The 14-year-old is known to use public transport and frequent the Edinburgh and the East Lothian area. Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the girl and have asked for the public to assist with their enquiries.

Naomi is described as being around 5ft tall, of medium build with squint eyes and long brown hair with temporary pink dye through it. She was last seen wearing black trainers, black leggings and a pink t-shirt with black jacket with fur hood.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police are trying to determine the whereabouts of Naomi Doran. Her family are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

"Anyone with information is requested to contact 101 quoting incident number 4396 of 8th May 2023."
