An urgent search has been launched to try and trace a missing man who vanished from the west end of Glasgow three days ago.
Police are asking the public for help to trace 28-year-old Jake Burns. He was last seen around 10.30pm on Wednesday, November, 2, in Blantyre Street in Yorkhill.
No one has seen or heard from him since and he was then reported missing to the police today, Saturday, November 5.
Jake is around 5ft 6 inches in height, with a slim build, short black hair and wears spectacles. There is no information on what clothing he might be wearing.
Extensive enquiries are under way to locate Jake and officers are checking for CCTV footage for any additional information on Jake or where he may have gone.
Sergeant Dean Shankie of Police Scotland said: "Jake's family is understandably concerned for him and just want to know he is safe and well. It is totally out of character for him not to be in touch and our concern is growing. If anyone has seen Jake or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts then please get in touch."
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1433 of 5 November, 2022.
