Police in Ayrshire have this afternoon issued an appeal to the public for assistance in tracing a missing man from Ayr.
Lachlan Gray, 40, who is also known as Lachie, was last seen around 9.50am on Monday in Ayr.
He was driving his champagne-coloured Mini Cooper, with registration BT56 FYD.
Officers believe he may have travelled to other areas in Ayrshire and Glasgow.
Lachlan is described as 6ft tall, of medium build, short, fair/blonde hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing a grey t-shirt and light blue jeans.
Sergeant Martin Lawrie said: “We have growing concerns for Lachlan and as time goes by we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“We are appealing to the public to keep a look out for his vehicle, and if Lachlan or his vehicle is spotted, please contact police via 101.
“If anyone has seen Lachlan or has any information which could assist in our enquiries, please get in touch.”
Anyone who may have seen Lachlan or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting reference 3370 of 1 May, 2023.
