Concerns grow for missing West Lothian man as police issue urgent appeal

Concerns are growing for a man from West Lothian who has been missing for 'several days'.

Christopher Donald, from Fauldhouse, West Lothian, was last seen on Thursday, June 8, in Kilmarnock. However, concerns are growing after he failed to turn up for work and has not been in touch with friends or family since June 11.

Police have now issued an urgent appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard from him to get in touch.

Christopher also has access to a works van, a white Ford Transit HT22 NVE. Officers are checking a potential sighting of the vehicle in Hamilton and surrounding areas of Lanarkshire.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out, however, attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland is seeking the public’s assistance in trying to locate a man missing from Fauldhouse.

"No one has heard from Christopher since Sunday, 11 June 2023 and he was reported missing to the police on Tuesday, June 13 2023.

"Officers are continuing to speak to his family and friends. Relevant CCTV footage is being reviewed for any additional information on where Christopher might have gone."

Constable Leigh Bryce said: “We have become increasingly concerned for Christopher. He hasn’t turned up for work and has not been seen or heard from for several days. I would urge anyone who has seen Christopher or who may have seen his works van to contact us. We just want to know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0994 of 13 June 2023.
