Concerns for missing woman who police think may be in Newcastle

Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a missing woman who may be in Newcastle. The force raised the alarm just hours after Rose Brisley last made contact.

Rose, from Ashford in Kent, contacted her family around 6.50pm yesterday evening (Wednesday). Hours later, Kent Police issued an appeal online along with a photograph in an attempt to try and trace her.

The appeal from Kent Police read: "Have you seen missing Ashford woman Rose Brisley, who we believe may be in Newcastle? She last made contact with her family at 6.50pm on Wednesday 15 June and we are concerned for her welfare. Please call 101 if you see her or know where she is."
