Concerns for missing East Lothian pensioner 'without her medication'

An urgent search has been launched to trace a missing pensioner who may be without her medication.

Police in East Lothian have issued an appeal to try and locate 71-year-old Linda Urquhart after she was reported missing from the Musselburgh area.

According to officers, Linda was last seen at around 1pm on Monday (May 30) in Musselburgh, but has not been heard from since.

Issuing "increased concerns" for her welfare, police shared that Linda may be without her prescribed medication, and have urged anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Appealing on social media on Tuesday (May 31), officers said:

"Searches are ongoing for missing 71-yr-old Linda Urquhart, last seen around 1pm on Monday, 30/5 in Musselburgh.

"She may be without her prescribed medication and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

"If you have seen Linda, please call 101 (ref 2875 of 30/5)."
