Concerns have been raised regarding "a sustained pattern of burglary" across South Belfast.
Over the past month there have been at least 13 reported, primarily on the Lisburn Road, Stranmillis and the Ormeau Road.
In a number of the incidents, someone entered a property via an open window or door before suspects fled the scene with stolen goods.

SDLP Botanic councillor Gary McKeown said: "We are seeing a sustained pattern of burglary across South Belfast, and while the statistics speak for themselves, behind every incident is a really unpleasant experience for those affected.
"As many people struggle through the cost of living crisis, burglaries can have a catastrophic impact on their household finances. Added to this are the existing stresses from the pandemic, and you can see how this type of crime can have a severe impact on wellbeing.
"While we can't completely remove the risk of burglary, I would encourage people to take steps to reduce the risk that their properties will be targeted, as often these burglaries are opportunist in nature, with criminals looking for easy access.
"Keep windows closed and doors locked when you are out or at night. I would also urge anyone who sees anything suspicious to report it. If you notice anything that doesn't seem right in your area, you can ring police on 101, or 999 if a crime is taking place or in an emergency.
"Any intelligence or information that can be given to police will help them target resources and attempt to catch those responsible."
Police have said they are aware of the burglaries in South Belfast and have asked residents to remain vigilant.
Inspector McGrady said: “Preventing burglaries remains a top priority for south Belfast police.
“A large number of residential burglaries are opportunistic and continue to occur via unlocked windows and doors.
“We would therefore encourage home owners to review their security to protect their homes and outbuildings.
“Recently, Neighbourhood Police in south Belfast launched its ‘Burglar? Don’t Bother’ campaign.
“This campaign involves officers visiting homes across south Belfast, encouraging residents to lock up, store valuables securely and carry out traceable property marking.
“We are committed to working with local communities and Police and Community Safety Partnerships (PCSP) in a bid to reduce incidents and keep people safe. We rely, of course, upon members of the public getting in touch. If you have been a victim of burglary, or indeed any crime, it’s important that you tell us.
