Concern mounting for missing Scots schoolgirl who disappeared from home

Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing Scots schoolgirl.

Cerise Beaton, 13, has vanished from the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen.

She is described as a white female, 5ft 1in and has black shoulder-length hair.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black body warmer, a black top, black leggings and black trainers.

The teenager also has a nose piercing and was wearing heavy makeup when she vanished.

Officers are urging anybody who may have any information on Cerise's whereabouts to contact police immediately.

A statement reads: " Police Scotland are concerned for the wellbeing of Cerise Beaton, 13, who has been reported missing from the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen.

"If you have any information which may assist in tracing Cerise please contact Police Scotland on 101."

Those contacting police should quote incident number PS-20220518-3959.
