Concern grows for missing Scots schoolgirl last seen more than a day ago

Police in Aberdeen are appealing to members of the public for information on a teenager who has not been seen for almost a day and a half.

Lexi Mcnamara, 14, was last spotted at around 1pm in the Granite City's Kittybrewster area, north of the city centre.

The teen is described as 5ft 5ins tall, with red or auburn hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a black puffa-style jacket, black leggings and black trainers.

Officers from Police Scotland's North East division have urged anyone with information to get in touch by calling them on 101.

Anonymous information can also be given through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via young person's charity Fearless at fearless.org.

Anyone giving information should quote reference 0089 of February 28 2022.
