Arsenal kept themselves in the Premier League title race on Saturday with a win against Crystal Palace, but there was immediate concern for Bukayo Saka who left Selhurst Park on crutches after playing just 26 minutes.
Bukayo Saka Hamstring Injury
Bukayo Saka has been without a doubt Arsenal’s best player so far this season, but the Englishman has suffered a setback in his campaign after picking up a concerning hamstring injury.
frtSaka was withdrawn midway through the first half with a non-contact injury that forced the Arsenal star off the field.
The winger crossed a dangerous ball in from the right hand side with his lesser preferred right foot and immediately after delivering the cross, Saka clutched down at his hamstring.

Arsenal were able to cope without their starboy on Saturday night, as without Saka the Gunners were still able to dominate Crystal Palace in a 5-1 win.
So far this year Saka has been involved in all but one of Arsenal’s Premier League games and he has been without a doubt the best player in North London after 17 games.
Saka has scored five and recorded 10 assists in the league alone this season, making him a firm contender for player of the season should he make a speedy recovery from his injury.
Mikel Arteta Worried About Saka
When asked after the game how he thought Saka was coping with his injury, Mikel Arteta looked worried for his player and he couldn’t give a timeline on his return.
“He felt something in his hamstring, he couldn’t continue. He will have to be assessed. I’m pretty worried about that one.
“It’s difficult. They have tested him but it’s very difficult to say how bad it is.”
Raheem Sterling was signed by Arsenal in the summer with the intention to relieve some pressure on Arsenal’s main man, but he also picked up an injury before Saturday’s game ruling him out of the action.
“We don’t know for how long,” Arteta continued. “To lose two players in 24 hours is not good.
“Unfortunately, with the amount of games that we are playing and with this schedule, it doesn’t surprise me. But the team will react to that.”
The games come thick and fast for Arsenal as the new year approaches, with the Gunners hosting Ipswich on Friday before a trip to Brentford on new year’s day and to Brighton on the 4th of January.
