Schoolboy missing from Dublin for 24 hours found after gardai appeal for information

A 12-year-old boy who went missing from Dublin yesterday has been found "safe and well".

Gardai appealed to the public for information finding Immanuel Pome, who was last seen in the Cabra area of Dublin 7 on the evening of Easter Monday, April 18. Gardai said they were working to trace his whereabouts.

The young schoolboy is described as being approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height with a thin build, brown eyes and black hair.

Immanuel was last seen wearing a grey 'Champion' jumper with a black and white stripe over the chest, black tracksuit bottoms and white Nike runners.

Gardai appealed to the public for assistance in finding the boy.

A spokesperson said: "Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 12 year old Immanuel Pome, who has been missing from the Cabra area of Dublin 7 since the evening of Monday, 18th April, 2022.

"Immanuel is described as being approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height with a thin build, brown eyes and black hair. When last seen, Immanuel was wearing a grey Champion jumper with a black and white stripe over the chest, black tracksuit bottoms and white Nike runners."

On Tuesday afternoon, it was confirmed that Immanuel had been found "safe and well".

Gardai thanked the public for their help.

A spokesperson said: "Immanuel Pome has been located safe and well. An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter."
