NEW DELHI: Aditi Swami, the 17-year-old prodigious Indian archer, continued her remarkable run by winning the senior world championship in the compound women's category at the World Archery Championships on Saturday. Less than two months after securing the junior world title, Aditi displayed her extraordinary talent and defeated Mexico's Andrea Becerra in the final to clinch the coveted gold medal.
The young archer from Satara had already made her mark in the archery world by winning the Under-18 title in the Youth Championships held in Limerick back in July. Now, she has added another illustrious accolade to her name by claiming victory at the senior level.
