WHAT a relief to be writing this column in Edinburgh rather than London this week.

The Westminster Parliament is in recess until September 5, giving me a great opportunity to spend a good long chunk of time in my Edinburgh South West constituency rather than just the Fridays and weekends I manage while Parliament is sitting.
