Manchester City and Arsenal will meet for the Community Shield match to open next season on Sunday, August 6.
The traditional curtain-raiser between the Premier League champions and the runners-up sees the duo square off at Wembley after City won the treble in 2022-23.
ITV will show the game on TV, with the kick-off time moved from 5.30pm BST to 4pm a few days after the original announcement.
The FA stated: “The decision to move the kick off time was taken following full consideration of the transport challenges for fans returning to Manchester after the match.”
Elsewhere, the 2024 FA Cup final will take place on Saturday, May 25.
It will be the third year in a row that the showpiece match will not be played on the same day as Premier League fixtures, and takes place six days after the final round of matches in the English 2023-24 top-flight season.
Wembley will then host the Championship play-off final the day after the cup final, and the Champions League final a week later on June 1.
The Women's FA Cup final will take place on either Saturday, May 11 or Sunday, May 12, with the exact date to be confirmed at the earliest opportunity.
